I have 18 years of experience working as a teacher. I have worked with different students and in different countries. This includes countries in Asia, Latin America, and Europe. I have worked with students in elementary school and middle school. I like to focus on science and math topics and love working in the higher elementary school level. I think it's essential to help students better learn math skills during this age level because it sets the tone for future years. Learning more now can lessen frustration and stress in the middle school years. I believe that it's also essential for students to understand science concepts early on as well, because the tools used are closely related to middle school and high school level math. It's important to be patient and caring when working with children. If a student feels successful, he or she will crave more learning in life. When I'm not working with students, I like to spend time dancing, listening to music, and reading. I can help with a variety of math and science subjects. I can also work with students on reading and language needs. If necessary, we can focus on study skills for overall success with learning.
